About MadSlime
My Story
Hi! I'm Maddie, I'm 13 years old and I love making slime! I started making slime in 2020 because like most kids during covid, I was bored. There was only one problem, mom's hate slime. I started experimenting with different recipes over and over again until I made one that was way, way less messy than the average slime you find at the store. Friends and neighbors loved it. It became a rule that only "Maddie's Slime" or "Mad's Slime" was allowed in their homes. Eventually I started selling it to friends and classmates and now I am so excited to share it with you!

Donating to schools
I realized that making slime helped me with any anxiousness 2020 brought. You release stress from your fingers (that's why people bite their nails or pick at their fingers when nervous) but fidgiting with the slime instead can actually calm you down. Kind of like a stressball, but more fun.
I use my proceeds from MadSlime and donate jars of slime to school counselors and principals around Houston. Because what's more stressful than being in a principal or counselors office?
I hope my slime can help other kids feeling anxious. Principals have actually asked for extra for themselves because it helps them too!
